Provoking Insight

There is no doubt that we seek answers out side of ourselves. Turning to friends and family (even complete strangers) for advice and suggestions on how to live our own lives when we already intuitively know what's best for us. Some find the idea of sitting quietly and listening to the inner voice of love, our true Self, to be less exciting then going to the Gynecologist for a pap smear.

“The moralist always judges, the aware person never judges. He lives in a nonjudgmental consciousness. He simply watches and understands.” - OSHO

Oracle, meditation and tarot cards bring a bit of insight when used with the intent of “For the Highest Good for All with harm to none.” There are times when the messages drawn are unwelcome because the perceived guidance drawn is less than in our favor. Wait, isn't that why we sought the advice? In order to change, we have to look at the cause to encourage the desired affect.

Each Monday, I drawn one card from the “Discover the Buddha” Meditation to Meet the Buddha Within by OSHO and leave it propped up on my desk as a daily reminder. The card drawn fits perfectly into what is happening in my life in this moment. Today's card reads, “A mind beyond judgments watches and understands.” As we go forth on our paths of enlightenment non judgment is one of those things that, at times, seems pretty easy and without issue... and occasionally we find ourselves pre-judging someone based on opinions we were taught by another person and or society.

This week observe your thoughts. Are you consciously or subconsciously judging? Share with us your Ah-ha moments.
