Slumbering Emotions

Dreams are just another way for us to explore and release unresolved emotions. Deep within there may lay in waiting hidden secrets of things we've either done or witnessed and, in some cases, feelings that percolate up from a space we had no idea existed.

As the details of the slumbering memories fade as I awaken and merge more into this day, there is still a part of me that is hurting, sad and regretful. It involved family, forgiveness and love.

"If you haven't cried, your eyes can't be beautiful." -Sophia Loren
When you wake from a dream that shakes you at the core, and emotions are very tender, do you do everything you can to forget them or do you put forth the effort to "react"? By that I mean, when you awaken, are you willing to cry and release the residual emotions? Do offer forgiveness to Self and all involved? Do you take a moment to say, "thank you" to the awareness? Can you, or are you willing, to say to Self, "I love you unconditionally"?
